On rare occassion, I come across poems and stories relating to rubber stamping. Here are a few selections I have come across.
ODE TO RUBBER
I think that
I shall never see
My life return to normalcy.
A life where rubber had no part
But now whose mention thrills my heart.
And keeps me thinking all the day
Of how I can find time to play.
A life where
I am free to think
Of other things than stamps and ink.
And life was calm, and life was quiet,
But I saw a stamp, and I HAD to buy it.
And the rest, as they say, is history -----
I don't have stamps........my stamps have me!
